I love Valentine's day!!!

So as soon as I could I packed up all things Christmas (don't get me wrong I love Christmas too) but Hearts are different...
 I LOOOOVE them! So I cleaned the house and Decorated the whole thing for Valentines Day!! because... I well I fell better stamping when the house is clean and all covered in hearts!   Then I made this card!! 

I love the way it turned out!  It reminds me of being a little girl.   My aunt and I would make Valentines using old cards, newspapers and doilies.  We would glue everything together cut it out,  add ridiculous amounts of glitter and write
"Happy Valentines Day" on them and leave them around the farm for  people to find!!! Oh it's no wonder I love Valentines day!! And  I Heart Hearts!!

Sad that pictures don't do her justice this card makes you wanna pinch her cheeks!!!

Oh It's A Wonderful Life!!

Ralph had a cabinet retreat in Palm Dessert.  That means I had to take a trip in DECEMBER!!! I kicked and screamed because I have so much to do, I  always have so much to to.  So I huffed and puffed then I finally caved in!  I packed my bags (I also Packed all my Christmas card making supplies)  and loaded the car HUMPHHHH.

But then I got there and WOW!! 


We arrive and the sign reads "Welcome to Bedford Falls"!
What the heck???
We find out that it's the town of "It's a wonderful life and Frank Capra actually wrote the book at The La Quinta, and that's where we were staying!  Here's a photo montage of our trip!!

It was almost 80* every day!

Swam and Jacuzzied heated pools are dreamy!



While my husband worked I took a 8 mile bike ride around the Santa Rosa Mtns!

OK so my Bad attitude did a 180, an absolute turn around, and I was able to make 40 Christmas cards too! 
Truth is I needed some time before the Christmas schedule begins here!
I was so blessed!!  Although my husband gave me a hard time, every time I said "wow, that's so cool" he would say "but you aren't supposed to be here"!!  Funny man that one!!

The Christmas Mother Load!

I loved teaching this class every year!  Yes I know it's a lot and every year I push my ladies into sheer stamping exhaustion, but they love it and I love them!

The day started a little crazy however my sewing machine died in the middle of my set up and I almost had a small stroke! But when the women showed up, they blessed my socks off  picked up needles and thread
and got it done for me. Here's my pioneer women!

So we worked had lunch and worked some more all the while Christmas music and laughter filled the room.

What a wondrous day!
