I had a super fun class yesterday!  I really enjoyed the whole thing and lunch time with my gals!
However there's always the one thing and here was mine.  The night before my class, I thought we should spruce up this card a bit and add some crystal effects! Let's just say not the best idea I ever had!!!
Sometimes simple is best!! It got a little gooey and crazy!
Here's the card with out the crystal effects. See it's just fine!!
I do get a little nuts the night before! I should seek advice before I act on my own without supervision.

original artwork by Julie Ujano

I love the way this card turned out!  I can't tell you what drives me to just look at a card and then say " I think it needs something why don't I just rub my stamp pad over the back of it and see what I get".  I crack myself up!!  More often then not it just looks weird.  But then there's the times it just works and I say" Thank You God"  A there you have it even the naughty deserve something nice!!  Hehehe!
Have a wonderful Sunday!!! And for those of you signed up for my Monday Class I'm looking forward to it!  Off to cut for you all!
Happy Stampin and craftin!

Santa, me???

I love this card.  I wondered about Santa and me, as we have no history.  I love snowflakes and trees and words like JOY!  I decided to stray from what I know and play with Santa.  His little wink had me right away!  So here's what I came up with:

No Rake Needed!

I love this card!!  I have to say I have spent some time in my day raking leaves, and in Scottsdale there's no need!!!  Our leaves are stuck on year round!!
However they are falling down around this card!  I am having a great time with the wonderful colors!  As cranky as I was that Stampin Up!  Created this new color renovation I am truly happy with the outcome!!  The way the colors all blend with each other is a work of art!!  So enjoy the eye candy and create something that smells like fall!
Until next time!

Falling for Fall!

As tempted as I was to jump right past fall and land on Christmas I'm so glad I didn't!

I'm really smelling pumpkin spice and hot apple cider right now as I'm creating the class for this coming Monday!!

I've designed all my cards and am posting them one a day to keep you in suspense hehe!!

This is a combo of Old Olive, Peach Parfait and Soft Suede!  I'm loving this creative combo!!

The French Foliage set is like art in stamps I love this set!!

There's a lot of love coming out of me for this card!  Funny it's been so many different cards before I got to this look but I'm finally happy with the outcome!!

Boo! Treat Box

One night after my birthday Julie and I stayed up till 2:00AM wanting to co design a project for an upcoming class!  We call this effort "Team Julie" (or I do any way!)  So here it is a collaboration of Julies and sleeplessness . I think we pulled a winner out of our hats!!
The new candy wrapper die is a no brainer, what I mean by that is, you don't have to think about needing this die you just do!!
Tangerine Tango and the black striped ribbon are an October must!
We will be making this in my next class!
I still have a few spots available so if you live in the area I'd love to meet you!
Happy craftin, Julie

Grateful For You!

The leaf from the Good Friend set works perfectly inside!!

Here's one of the cards I designed for my fall class.  Help with the inspiration came from the Stampin Up! Catalog again: Page160.  I always like to tweak the cards I see and make them my own. (Known to my class as Julieizin it!)

I'm so excited that we get to be together again!  If you haven't signed up for my class your gonna wish you had, cause it's gonna be GOOOOD!
So what have I used here?
Riding Hood Red card stock ooh!  So pretty! A little vintage brad, some Chocolate Chip ribbon, our little leaf Sizzlits die, Fabulous Phrases, Good Friend and Lovely Letters stamp sets.

Thanksgiving and fall are such great seasons to cozy up, make a card and let someone know your
thankful they are in your life!
Love you, Julie

A bunch of Thanks!

Tempting Turquoise

The mother load of friendship love.

I needed to sit down and stamp a huge load of thank you cards for my birthday.  Glad to say I finished them and here they are!  I love this design!  I borrowed it out of the catalog added some ribbon and changed the color!  We can find so much inspiration out of the Stampin Up! Catalog.  I will be showing another card that inspired me out of the catalog tomorrow!
Stamp Set used: Simple Friendship on page 108.  Yes all those wonderful stamps are from one set!
Have a wonderful day and find time to share the stampin love!

Concord Crush!

Oh what a lovely card!
My new down line Heather made me this card!  This card pretty much sealed the deal!!  She had to become a demonstrator, look at how talented she is!
I love how she made the envelope too!  Thank you Heather for all your work and time!

I really love using punches to punch out the images.  I also love how Stampin up makes it easy for you to make a card in a hurry if you need to! We offer many punches and stamped images to fit in them.

I  am really enjoying our new In Colors!  This is our Concord Crush! It's so bold and... thirst quenching!
HaHa I crack my self up!

Make time for your inner crafter!
Love and God Bless, Julie

Is It Fall Yet?

I'm pretty sure it was still 100 degrees today!! Oh fall where are you!
If we stamp it, it will come!!

I made this card for my Father in law's birthday!  I love the idea of man cards.  Yet I find them so difficult.  The concept of dulling it down goes through my head!  It's a misconception to be sure, but what do you mean no bows, buttons, rhinestones or glitter!!!
Heck just shoot me!  But then what I do is think of that person and it helps!  My Father In Law is a stud!  He's a hiker, a swimmer and he's an amazing grandpa!  So I use that knowledge to get me through!!

I used our new punch from the mini!  I love this punch!! I Punched it twice then cut it apart to expand it. I will show you how at my fall class!
Happy stamping, God Bless!
Love, Julie

Black as it gets baby!!

I have a wonderful card to share!!   Those of you who at my class may have gotten to see this one in person.  But if you were not there here's your chance!

look at that black chunky glitter all over the scallops! Yummy!!

My Lovely BFF Julie, who just also happens to be my down line in the Stamp Up! world made this card!
You can check her out here:  http://thecardchick.blogspot.com/
She called me and asked me what my favorite color was.  I told her "black".  (You all know that it's the truth!)  Then she said "and what other color?" and I said "just black it's perfect all by it's self"!  A couple of days later I got this card in the mail!  Yahoo!!!  I died and went to heaven!  She called it a Victorian funeral card!! I called it perfect!!  I really appreciated the hard work that went into this card lots of steps and detail all for me!
Just in case your thinking a girl cannot live on black alone.
Here's the visual on the clothes I wore last week.

So what ever color inspires you go get to crafting!!
Have a great day and God bless you!
Love, Julie
